Recently, our youth have performed official capacities during service on Youth Sunday, provided home repairs to Rocky Mount citizens in the summer Gatekeepers program, volunteered with homeless families at the Bassett Center, rung bells for the Salvation Army, and passed out water during the “Rocket Mile” run.  They have enjoyed their Wisdom Lunches with elders in the church as well as being with youth from other local churches on the Faith Ski Weekend in Wintergreen, VA.  They have mixed with other youth ministries at the Jingle Mingle at Advent and participated in a Community Youth Forum at the YMCA.
