Parish Life

One of the most important gifts that members of any church receive is belonging to a community and feeling that this community will be there for you in good times and bad.  Worshipping together creates a powerful bond, but this sense of family is also nurtured outside of the sanctuary through:

  • Coffee Hour after the 8:00 and 10:30 Sunday services, attended by members, visitors, and clergy
  • A number of communications channels, including The Sunday Paper inside bulletins, eShepherd weekly emails, quarterly Shepherd’s Horn, Special Announcement emails, Facebook page for the church, bulletin boards at the church, and this website
  • Special events such as Sip-n-Dip in-home gatherings, annual Homecoming Parish Picnic in the fall, annual Mardi Gras Dinner, a Parish Picnic during Pentecost in the spring, and occasional lunches and dinners for special occasions during the church year
  • Getting involved in one or more of our many Outreach and Inreach projects with other church members
