Choir season has started and Director of Music Lawrence Goering (who is at the same time organist and choir master) is excited to “Sing to the Lord a New Song” with his three choirs.
The Cherub Choir is for children ages 3 through 1st grade. This choir learns fundamentals of music and liturgy and sings at the 10:30 A.M. service a few times per year.
The Alleluia Choir is for children in 2nd through 8th grades and 1st graders with excellent reading ability. This choir sings at the 10:30 AM service every two to three weeks from September through May, as well as for some other occasions.
The Good Shepherd Adult Choir sings weekly at the 10:30 A.M. service as well as at Evensongs, Lessons & Carols, on Christmas Eve, and at other services on the liturgical calendar.
